Will a BigPond Broadband service work if I upgrade to Windows Vista?
BigPond ADSL Yes, your BigPond-provided ADSL modem is compatible with Windows Vista if your computer is connected to the modem using the Ethernet port or using the Netgear Wi-Fi adaptor provided in your Wi-Fi kit, or using your laptop’s inbuilt Wi-Fi adaptor (where applicable). If your computer is connected to the modem using the USB port, you should remove your USB Cable and connect to your modem’s Ethernet port, by performing the following steps: BigPond Cable Yes. BigPond Wireless Broadband If you have a Wireless Broadband Next G™ service, you will need to download and install the Next G Wireless Broadband Connection Manager for Windows before you upgrade to Windows Vista . If you have a new computer or have not installed Wireless Broadband before, you will need to download and install, using the latest installation CD for Vista found at BigPond Wireless Broadband full installation. It will guide you through registering your device and getting you connected.
