As a BigPond Member, you can automatically forward email from your BigPond email account to another email address for free.

Step 1 of 6:  Log in to My BigPond.

Step 2 of 6:  From the menu on the left select Email & Communicate, Email, then Manage my email.

Step 3 of 6 : Then under Email Forwarding click on Manage My Email Forwarding.(If using MyInbox, go to Step 6)

Step 4 of 6 : In the first Forward to box, type in the email address that you want your BigPond emails forwarded to. Note: If you want a copy of the forwarded emails to be kept in your BigPond mailbox, tick the box next to Keep a copy on the server.

Step 5 of 6: Click on Submit.

Step 6 of 6:  From the left hand menu, select MyInbox then Settings the select Messages.  Fill in the details under Mail forwarding.
 
We recommend that you test your forwarding once you’ve set it up.  To test:

Step 1 of 3:  Send a test email to your BigPond email address.

Step 2 of 3: Wait a minute or two, then check your forwarding email address to see if your test email is there.

Step 3 of 3:  If it hasn’t arrived, you’ll need to double check that the email address you entered when setting up your email forwarding is entered correctly.

Notes:

• Customers who connect a new BigPond service and  provide us with a preferred email address in sign-up, will automatically have email forwarding set up to that address when they connect their account.
  
• If you have BigPond Pre-Paid access and it expires, then any forwarding details you specify will be deactivated until you top-up your account.
